It's Friday...

and all I wanna do is sit outside and read. Please enjoy this lovely layout. I tried to reposition the buttons on the bottom, but after some careful pulling I ripped the paper. So they're stayin!

So I don't really watch this portion of American Idol, but I did stay current on Sanjaya and his hair. I was shocked this morning when I heard of his departure from the show.





Sanjaya you will be missed..and the pony-hawk was not a good look...

Tax Time Sales Rock!

The Scrap Shack had some awesome sales the last three days. Since I'm trying to build my supplies I decided to stop by and pick up some Prima flowers. Not sure when I'll use them but they sure do look good sitting on my desk.

I also couldn't walk by the buttons without picking some up :) I bought two more jars to add to the fam. Don't they look so cute.

I Love Target!

Why do I love Target? Because I bought this lamp for $15.
I wanted something that would match the decor of my bedroom but not cost me $60. It even has a chain thingie to turn the light on and off...no more having to search for that little nob!

Now all I need to get are some more light bulbs, I borrowed this one from another lamp.

I had to do it...

I had to join in and try my own felt creation. I wasn't able to participate in the ugly doll challenge, but I really wanted to see how I'd do.

And here she is...my own felt robot! Not sure what to name her, I'm open to some suggestions.

There are a lot of things I'd do differently, but I had lots of fun with it. I'm going to try another later this week. And yes, the arms and legs are different lengths on purpose.

I don't know why I care, but Larry Birkhead is the father of Anna Nicole's baby. I dunno if it's just me but I knew it was his baby. That little girl looks just like him!!

Horrible Monday Scrappin'

Been sick all day and I thought doing some layouts would help.

Since I had a migraine today I tried not to think too hard, so I sat in bed and tried to come up with circle journal topics! I came across a favorite number layout and thought that would be fun...I really wanted to use my new buttons, but didn't want to go overboard.

I decided to use one of our card art journal topics for the circle journal. You can't really see it, but it says "Note to self". I really just wanted to show off the paper, so there's not much going on. Love Basic Grey!!
