so sad :(

I'm sitting in the Dallas airport after an awesome but short trip to Oklahoma. I cried after I said goodbye to Cammeron and I cried when I said goodbye to my mother. I instantly got happy when my mom handed me $100 :) maybe now I can pay some bills and send out the pile of happy mail sitting in my spare room.

Is it possible...

to not feel well and still have an awesome hair day? As you can see in the photo, my hair rocked today (at least I think it did)! On the sick side, I think I might be getting mono. I just hope I don't feel worse when I get to Oklahoma. Yeah baby! One more day!!

On another topic, I finally found the earrings my dad bought me a year ago. I've been going insane looking for them and when I stopped thinking about it they popped right up! It's amazing what can fall in your lap when you let it.

OOOOOklahoma!! where the wind comes sweeping down the plain, and the waving wheat can sure smell sweet when the wind comes right after the rain.....There's more, but you get what I'm sayin. I am sooo excited for my trip to Oklahoma.

Last night I finally figured out what to do with the chipboard book I got from my happy mail partner. It's perfect for my Europe pictures.

Today was my carotid artery scan. I wasn't sure how they were going to do it, but it was awesome! The woman took an ultrasound of the arteries in my neck in order to detect any signs of heart disease. I didn't know that the arteries in your body had different sounds depending on what organ they supply blood to. Your skin isn't "requesting" as much blood as a liver, so the artery that supplies it's blood sounds low and slower. Compared to your brain, which needs a lot of blood, that artery is faster and has a higher tone. The entire time I was waiting I had scenes from Grey's running through my head. I'm still in shock from last nights show.

til I'm in Oklahoma!! I never thought I would be this excited to visit Oklahoma. I'm sooo crying when I see Cammeron, I can already tell.

On an awesomer note...I got happy mail from Breanne yesterday. So many fab goodies!!

I cranked out this layout for my mom and used a piece of fabric Breanne sent. For a while I've been hesitant to sew on a layout, but I was so excited to try it last night. Wasn't as hard as I thought.

that paperclips are hot? I got some cool ones in a happy mail package Cindy B sent me. See that sweet blue on on the rim...mmhmm one of the new members of my collection.

I've recently noticed that my collection is getting low. I'm tempted to count them again.

Well that was fun!!

I got a burst of energy after my trip to target and the scrapbook store. I made some cards that I'll eventually send out with happy mail.

sickness and ugly shoes

I don't feel well this morning. To top it off I usually expect the shoe calendar to deliver some awesome shoe on the 1st. Instead I get this...an ugly 1948 open-toed evening sandal.
